With the generous support of the Water Foundation and the Bureau of Reclamation, the Pacific Institute and the University of California, Riverside will host a Salton Sea Summit October 17th to 18th at the University of California, Riverside/Palm Desert campus.
The Summit is a multi-disciplinary Salton Sea conference including panels on hydrology, ecology, dust control, projects and policy, intended to attract a broad range of interests, promote an exchange of ideas, and develop new opportunities and partnerships.
Associated with the summit will be several optional field trips to the Salton Sea on October 16th.
Due to overwhelming interest, registration for the conference is now closed. Fortunately, UC Riverside’s School of Public Policy will livestream the conference here.
