Ian Hoyt joined the Pacific Institute in 2021. He serves as a programmatic and operational liaison to the UN Global Compact for the CEO Water Mandate partnership. Prior to this role he worked on the Engagement team of the CEO Water Mandate to support programming, events, communications, and scaling internal systems. He also supports the Pacific Institute’s ongoing Impact Measurement systems.
Ian holds a BA in History from New York University Abu Dhabi, where his studies focused on transboundary hydro-politics. Previously, he worked as a research assistant investigating climate change adaptation in the Red Sea region.
