For nearly 30 years, George Schuler has been a driving force in tackling global water challenges. He has a proven track record of initiating groundbreaking projects, leading diverse teams, and securing substantial funding to achieve impactful water sustainability solutions.

George’s expertise lies in fostering collaborative water management strategies, navigating policy frameworks, and mobilizing resources for impactful projects.  He excels in scientific research, program evaluation, and advocating for responsible water use on a global scale.  Driven by a passion for innovation, he founded Water for Tomorrow Ventures, a global startup focused on collaborative water strategies.  His leadership includes directing a multi-million-dollar water program and securing over $10 million in funding throughout his career.  George is deeply committed to the CEO Water Mandate’s mission and his experience positions him perfectly to contribute to the organization’s future success.

George has partnered with public, private, non-profit, and university-based organizations to develop action plans on the topics of climate change and disasters, as well as energy, food, and water security. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Allegheny College and a Master of Environmental Studies from Yale University.
