Dr. Christine Curtis

Dr. Christine Curtis joined the Pacific Institute in 2021. Christine’s work covers the broad topics of environmental justice, environmental sustainability, and resilience. Her work focuses on bringing stakeholder and community perspectives into programs and policies. Additionally, she strives to reach general audiences through accessible writing so research can be translated into action.

Christine has partnered with public, private, non-profit, and university-based organizations to develop action plans on the topics of climate change and disasters, as well as energy, food, and water security. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Arizona State University.
