Stockholm World Water Week 2024 stands at the forefront of global dialogue on water security and sustainability. This year, under the theme “Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future,” the Pacific Institute catalyzes critical discussions and drives innovative solutions to some of the most pressing water-related challenges. With a commitment to fostering international collaboration, we get together with experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore transformative approaches across political and environmental boundaries.
Our involvement this year spans an extensive array of vital topics. We are deeply engaged in advancing discussions on enhancing water resilience through data to support peace and security, scaling nature-based solutions, and promoting business action for sustainable water management. Each session not only addresses the technical aspects of water management but also underscores the importance of cooperative, multi-sectoral approaches in building water-secure and resilient communities globally.

SIWI Seminar Series: Monitoring and Data to Support Peace and Security – Water Conflict Chronology: Background, Data, and Definitions
