On Friday, January 11th, Pacific Institute Senior Researcher Dr. Laura Feinstein will present on indicators of adequate water and sanitation service at the California State Water Resources Control Board Staff Workshop “Factors Identifying ‘At Risk’ Water Systems.”
The workshop will focus on determining factors that identify “at risk” drinking water systems in California, and will include expert panels on identifying and quantifying the challenges associated with providing safe and affordable drinking water. The workshop will also be an opportunity for interested persons to provide input to staff of the State Water Board on the Needs Assessment Scope of Work. While a quorum of the State Water Board members may be present, this will be an informational workshop only, and the State Water Board will take no formal action.
The workshop will be held on Friday, January 11th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Byron Sher Auditorium at Cal/EPA Headquarters, 2nd Floor, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California 95814.
