On April 19th, Laura Feinstein of the Pacific Institute will speak at a California State Water Resources Control Board workshop on access to sanitation for people experiencing homelessness in California.
California’s homeless population largely relies on public facilities for water and sanitation, but such services are often hard to reach, unclean, poorly maintained, or simply unavailable. In her talk. Dr. Feinstein will discuss defining and measuring access to sanitation in the state.
The workshop will take place from 9:30 to 4:00 PM PST on Friday, April 19th, 2019 at the Joe Serna Jr. Cal EPA Headquarters Building; 1001 I Street; Byron Sher Auditorium, 2nd Floor; Sacramento, California. Dr. Feinstein’s talk will begin at 10:15 AM.
