On Wednesday, October 17th, Pacific Institute Senior Researcher Anne Thebo will present at the U.S. Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (USCID) annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The theme of the conference is “Water Reuse and Non-Traditional Water Sources for Irrigated Agriculture.”
The conference seeks to provide a forum for water district staff, irrigation and drainage specialists, consultants, equipment suppliers, and academics to share innovative solutions and learn from each other’s experiences. It seeks to address the long-term sustainability of using treated effluent for irrigation, groundwater recharge, and environmental needs. Ms. Thebo’s presentation is part of the panel discussion, “Use of Recycled Water in Agriculture.”
The panel discussion will take place from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday. The conference will take place from Tuesday through Thursday, October 16th-18th, at the Sheraton Mesa Hotel at 860 North Riverview, Mesa, AZ 85201.
