Give to the Pacific Institute through your donor-advised fund

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is an investment account used to manage charitable donations to organizations of your choosing. It is a flexible, tax-efficient way to support your favorite charities (like the Pacific Institute!) and manage charitable giving over time.

You can give the gift of water resilience through your donor-advised fund. We accept DAF donations via electronic funds transfer (EFT). Please email nwickenhauser@pacinst.org to request the EFT form. The Pacific Institute’s EIN: 94-3050434.

Benefits of donating through a donor-advised fund:

Flexibility: You decide when, where, and how much to give. Donations can occur as often as you like.

Simplified giving: You can contribute cash, stocks, cryptocurrency and more to multiple charities of your choosing. Once tax season comes, it is simplified into one receipt.

Immediate tax deductions: When you contribute to a donor-advised fund, you get an immediate tax benefit. If you choose to contribute stocks, mutual funds, or exchange traded funds (ETFs), you may avoid capital gains taxes when the nonprofit sells these assets.
