Pacific Institute Senior Researcher Tien Shiao will be a panelist at the 2019 Responsible Business Alliance Conference in Santa Clara, California on October 21st and 22nd. The Responsible Business Conference will focus on discussions surrounding corporate social responsibility in the global electronics supply chain. This conference is intended to generate new ideas, explore solutions to major supply chain challenges, and encourage networking among Responsible Business Alliance member companies, non-member companies, and suppliers.
Tien Shiao will participate in two panels. On October 21st, Ms. Shiao and other panelists will present “Context and Science Based Environmental Targets,” which will center around developing science-based targets for carbon and water use. On October 22nd, Ms. Shiao will help present “Corporate Water Stewardship Throughout Supply Chains,” which will focus on electronic companies and manufacturers as responsible global and local water stewards.
The Responsible Business Alliance Conference will take place from Monday, October 21st through Wednesday, October 23rd 2019. The conference will be hosted at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara at 5101 Great American Parkway, Santa Clara, California.
