Yash Patel

Yash Patel joined the Pacific Institute in 2024. His work spans the areas of economics, international relations, and community advocacy, focusing on integrating stakeholder and community perspectives into programs and policies to make research accessible and actionable.

Yash has collaborated with public, private, non-profit, and university-based organizations to develop action plans on environmental sustainability and legislative initiatives. During his internship with MASSPIRG, he analyzed congressional hearings, engaged with legislative offices, and created digital marketing materials to raise awareness on issues such as PFAS contamination.

At Boston University, Yash led the IMPACT Committee in the Student Government, driving initiatives to support marginalized communities through comprehensive reports and projects. He also managed finances for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, where he established financial aid programs to promote equity within the organization.

Yash is pursuing a B.A. in Economics and International Relations at Boston University, expected in May 2025. His dedication to community advocacy and policy development aligns well with the Pacific Institute’s mission.
