Srijani Ghosh joined the Pacific Institute in summer 2019 as a Communications Intern. She says she is excited to help publicize the work done at the Pacific Institute through social media, event announcements, and publication summaries.
Srijani earned a Ph.D. in English from Michigan State University and currently works as a Lecturer in the Departments of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies and English at the University of California, Berkeley. She is interested in working in communications and thinks working at the Pacific Institute is a great opportunity to “learn the ropes.” Although Srijani does not have a professional background in water issues, she says she is “interested in the noteworthy research conducted at the Pacific Institute that advances global water and environmental sustainability.” Through her work on social media outreach for the Pacific Institute, she says she is enjoying learning about regional and global water challenges and measures that can be taken to address them.
In her spare time, Srijani enjoys reading the latest fiction, cooking, and planning her next trip to slake her wanderlust.
