Jackie Rigley has recently joined the Pacific Institute as a Research Associate on the Water and Climate Equity team. Jackie focuses on the intersection of people and the environment. She is driven by her passion for environmental justice and community resilience in the face of climate change.

Prior to joining the Pacific Institute, Jackie gained experience at a conservation nonprofit, focusing on federal policy. She also interned at Livelihoods Knowledge Exchange Network where she researched climate-induced displacement in coastal Indigenous communities. Jackie has a background in environmental justice, climate adaptation, and policy.

Jackie completed her education at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she majored in Environmental Studies and Sociology.
