Alua Suleimenova joined the Pacific Institute in 2019 as a Research Associate. She supports the UN Global Compact’s CEO Water Mandate, which the Pacific Institute serves as co-secretariat for, and helps companies set water targets and develop and implement water stewardship and climate adaptation practices.
Prior to joining the Pacific Institute, Alua worked in corporate sustainability, climate policy, and applied environmental research. She received a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and an M.S. in Water Science from the University Duisburg-Essen (Germany).
