Heather Cooley of the Pacific Institute to Speak at Water-Energy Nexus Symposium

On Wednesday April 24th, Pacific Institute Director of Research Heather Cooley will speak at “Symposium on the Water-Energy Nexus: Holistic Solutions for Climate Change and Resiliency” at the PG&E Energy Center in San Francisco, California.

Concerns about climate change resilience have increased awareness of the interdependence of water and energy systems. This symposium will feature experts who will discuss the related concerns of sustainable water management, water-use intensity in electrical generation, energy demands of water delivery, and case studies in which water and energy were considered in an integrated and holistic manner.
