Abstract:
This dataset shows fire stations that are vulnerable to a 100-year coastal flood event with a 1.4 meter sea-level rise in California (year 2100 scenario). The fire station data was extracted from the FEMA HAZUS model and was intersected with the flooding layers created by the Pacific Institute and USGS/SCRIPPS.
Purpose:
To quantify the number of fire stations that would be vulnerable to a 100-year coastal flood event with a 1.4 meter sea-level rise in California (year 2100 scenario) if no protection measures are taken.
