On Wednesday, May 2, Pacific Institute Director of Research Heather Cooley will lead a workshop on practical tips for evaluating future water demand at River Rally 2018 in Olympic Valley, California.
Water suppliers routinely overestimate future water demand, resulting in unneeded water supply and treatment infrastructure, higher costs to ratepayers, and unnecessary environmental impacts. This workshop will provide attendees with information to evaluate water demand forecasts in their communities and assess whether there is a demonstrated need for new water supplies.
The workshop will be held on May 2 as part of River Rally 2018 in Olympic Valley, California.
