On Thursday, November 15th, Pacific Institute Research Director Heather Cooley will attend the California Economic Summit in Santa Rosa, California. The summit is presented by the California Stewardship Network and California Forward and represents the seventh annual statewide gathering of the state’s largest public- and private-sector network.
The California Economic Summit catalyzes public and private sector commitments to the triple bottom line: simultaneous growth in the economy, improvement in environmental quality, and increased opportunity for all. The summit will follow guidelines set out in the 2018 Roadmap to Shared Prosperity which focuses on establishing economic mobility goals, ensuring the inclusion of rural areas, building community resilience to climate change, and closing skills gaps for workers. The summit is a forum for the network to advance the progress made in workforce preparation, housing and community development, infrastructure, and working landscapes.
The summit will take place from Thursday November 15th to Friday 16th at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country at 170 Railroad Street, Santa Rosa, California 95401. Interested persons may register to attend here.
